A New Scam: ALERT! [1]

A couple of hours ago I answered my cell phone to hear a creepy-sounding, male, non-accented voice proclaim: “This is Smith, from the Border Authority. I am calling to notify you that a trespassing package has been identified in your name. You will be connected to---” at which point I hung up.

I really don’t expect anyone at DK to be taken in by this nonsense. However, I don’t do any social media, and I think this warning should be spread as far and as fast as possible. So if you read this and are connected to any of these groups, I ask that you pass along this warning. Thanks!
