I did a diary about this place around ten years ago after visiting with a friend, but now that I’m camped out in St Augie for a while I decided to visit it again. So, some new photos.

For those who don't know, I live in a converted campervan and travel around the country, posting photo diaries of places that I visit. I am currently wintering in Florida.

Marineland was founded as a movie studio for filming underwater scenes. Now it’s a marine rescue center.

It’s located out on one of the barrier islands on the Atlantic coast

The hill at the far end is “Submarine Hill”—it was a lookout post during World War II

Fishing boat out in the Atlantic

Dolphin skull and Mako Shark jaws on display

There are keeper talks going on all day

Dolphin training session

Hermit Crabs

Soft corals

Youngling Cardinalfish

Lemon Tang

Brittle Star

Dolphins!
