Is this your Father’s Republican Party: An open letter to Pat Toomey and Mitt Romney [1]

The 147 Republicans whom voted to ov return 2020 Election Results
On January 6, 2021, we witnessed the mob Trump can create, and saw first-hand the Civil War he is capable of starting. And while Trump did not care for the way his “people” were dressed, there 147 people in suits, who didn’t have to come to Washington to help foment that Civil War. They were already there, serving in the United States Senate and Congress.
That night, GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell and GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy both condemned Trump and the actions that took place that day. Since that time, Mitch McConnell has enthusiastically stated he would vote for Trump again if he wins the Republican nomination. Shortly after 1/6, Kevin McCarthy went to Mar-A-Lago to kiss Trump’s ring. In his effort to become speaker, McCarthy kissed something else, that each of Trump’s biggest supporters and co-conspirators demanded, in trade for their vote to support McCarthy becoming speaker.
This clearly is the Republican Party of Tommy Tuberville, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and John Kennedy, all of whom supported throwing out the vote of the people, and overturning our Constitution. The question is: Is this the Republican Party of Pat Toomey and Mitt Romney? Are Toomey and Mitt comfortable in the party of White Supremacy, White Christian Nationalists, Racists, like Boebart, Greene, Gosar and DeSantis? Are Mitt and Pat comfortable with supporting Communism like Trump, and his entire Freedom Caucus? Are they comfortable taking elections out of the votes of “We The People” and placing them in the hands of Doug Mastriano, Kristi Noem and their like?
Dear Mr. Toomey and Senator Romney: If the answer to these questions is no, then it is time to form a new party. When I was kid, my parents would not let me play with others who they thought would get me in trouble, take me down the wrong path. I’m guessing Mitt and Pat; your parents did the same thing. It’s time to listen to your parents and be careful who you play with.
