So a bill in Arkansas, banning men dressing as women from appearing in public, upon which Sarah Huckabee Sanders is licking her chops at the opportunity to not only sign, but get in front of cameras to brag about how she signed it, will soon be to her desk.
Because nothing presents a greater threat to our children than men dressing as women. Just ask Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis who dressed as women to escape the mob in “Some Like it Hot.” Or Dustin Hoffman in “Tootsie”. I don’t recall him serving a sentence for pedophilia. Rudy Giuliani once dressed in drag, but the jury is still out on whether that affected children. Harvard is renowned for putting on shows at the Hasty Pudding show with men dressed as women, but no worries. It is not like anyone from Harvard ever achieves any position of power.
To be clear here:
Number of children killed by crazed idiots with guns not dressed in drag since Columbine: 169
Number of men dressed in drag armed with guns who killed children: 0
Number of children sexually assaulted by teachers, nuns, priests, ministers or other people of authority: Too many to count.
Number sexually assaulted by men dressed in ladies clothing: 0
So, of course the Arkansas legislature acted quickly to go after the greatest threat to children; drag queens.
And considering that men dressed in women’s clothing has been around at least since Aeschylus it is very odd that such behavior has become the threat du jour.
Unless you are a politician being paid by priests, ministers, authority figures and the NRA to find someone, anyone to be a bigger threat to children then their penises and their guns.
