Trump's Word Salads Put A Lot Food on the News Media's Table!
The number 1 reason Trump became President is because the news media - across the political spectrum - hung onto his every word, ad nauseum.
As a result of Trump's clever manipulation of the news media he received at least 2 BILLION dollars worth of free advertising according to the New York Times.
The news media was only too happy to give that evil human fart all this attention he did not deserve because it substatially increased their bottom line. Now the roosters have come to roost. Boo-hoo! We wouldn't have had this monster as President for four years if it hadn't substantially benefited the news media financially. Now it's famine time and nobody bothered to store up enough grain for the eventual lean times ahead. Whose fault is that?
No one wants to lose their job on someone else's terms. But everyone who works in the news media should have taken an Econ 101 class before beginning their careers. Trump was the fat hen that Laid the Golden Egg and once those eggs stopped rolling, everyone is eventually is gonna be going on a diet! It's that simple.
Kos, perhaps you should try to monetize your website like rawstory does by aggressively offering subscriptions. Another idea is asking people to turn-off their ad blockers. A third idea is to hold fundraisers by progressive celebrities. Holding special events can raise large sums of money. Good luck in getting your financial house in order!
