What is happening to the residents of these United States?

I naively thought when the Towers went down on 911; we would realize how dangerous hate could be. That thought, that hope did not last long. Martin Luther King said “Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that”. It seems that a portion of our population is driven by hate; hate for people they do not know, people who look different, people who are guided by a different belief system, etc. Worse of all, they hate because they are told to hate. These haters are infiltrating every aspect of our lives; they are in positions that can destroy life as we know it, in America.

Institutions that were erected to protect us, admittedly were not/are not perfect are being attacked; even by an individual who was over all of the governmental institutions, a man who took an oath to protect this Republic was a ring leader in an attempt to undermine the validity of those institutions. I am flummoxed about the ease of one spoiled, narcissistic, insecure, cognitively challenged individual, was able to turn so many people against our way of life. People with Ivy league educations, has jumped onto that band wagon of destruction.

People believe the lie about a stolen election and yet ,all of this time, there has been absolutely no evidence to back up that claim; and it doesn’t seem to matter. I am amazed because personal relationships have been destroyed over a lie, but not this lie. “We

have become surrogates for Fred Trump; and now this need to protect this selfish individual and his dangerous mindset has infected like minded individuals. Those of us who are still sane, must stop this carnage before it goes any farther. Let’s save America, it wasn’t as good as it could have been before the last few years, but we can work on making it better together.
