Congresswoman hit by car [1]

Representative Suzanna Bonamici (D-OR) and her husband were struck by a car Friday evening while crossing a road in Portland. They were hospitalized with injuries, including a concussion suffered by the Congresswoman but are recovering now at home. My first fear was that it was intentional, given the tenor of the times, but the driver stopped and was cooperating with authorities. Rep. Bonamici was my congresswoman until redistricting moved me out of her district, and I was proud to be represented by her. With the House so closely divided we need every vote every day, so send positive thoughts her way for a speedy recovery.
