Last Thursday, 29-year-old Hugo Acosta randomly went inside a Star Cinema Grill in the northern Houston suburbs, in proximity to the Houston campus of ExxonMobil and the global headquarters of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. There, he announced that he was going to “kill everyone”, sending shockwaves of fear. Deputies for Harris County Constable Precinct 4 were then called regarding the threat; when they arrived at the cinema, Acosta was immediately taken into custody.

Hugo Acosta is now spending time at the Harris County Jail, after being charged for making a terroristic threat. His bond was set at $100,000, and if the bond is made, Acosta would be prohibited from entering any cinema within Harris County without court approval.
