You can't handle the truth.
Having read that people have gotten kicked off TFG’s Twitter-wannabe social media platform, “Truth Social,” when they posted something contrary to his view of the world, I decided to do a little experiment. I wanted to find out just what I had to do to get kicked off the platform.
So on Jan. 6 (2023), I signed up. I’d thought about doing this earlier, but I really didn’t want to give a Trump-supporting organization my phone number. They have probably kept my phone number, but so far the site has only contacted me during the signup process to send a code, in order to verify I was a real human. Annoying texts or calls may come later; if so I’ll cope.
These are the five posts I’ve put on Truth Social so far. Three or four of those were inspired by diaries I read on Daily Kos. So far, I am still allowed to read (I don’t) and post on the site. Maybe I don’t know what it takes to be seen there. And maybe I’m just not the phenomenon my ego would have me believe I am.
Anyway, enjoy. Or fume. Or laugh at me. Or whatever.
