Most coverage I’ve read views of the recent House stalemate reads as a power-seeking clown show. It may be just that, courtesy of the MAGA wing of Republican Party, which lately is just about all of them. But we’ve also recently heard that metal detectors were quietly removed by the House Republicans.
I know we all enjoyed the recent fiasco and irrational at times in-fighting. But I felt the same way towards January 6th in the months before it happened, not taking the threat with the seriousness it deserved. I promised to myself that I wouldn’t let that happen again. We've now had two years of foot dragging and no prosecutions of the plot leading traitors. Which has certainly been sending the wrong message to those who would try again.

A different type of Coup is being prepared under cover of the more extended clown show that will now follow after Kevin McCarthy’s “victory”. One which will be accompanied by the most horrendous mega lies imaginable. One which has as its ultimate goal the financial ruin of the America by forcing a default on our debt.
One has to think this comes directly from Putin’s puppet wing of the Party, which have successfully infiltrated the Congress. The Coup is not coming tomorrow or the day after, but it’s the long-term plan with various other attempts at destabilizing our country to precede it.
All Roads Lead to Putin
Putin has failed badly in Ukraine but not with American meddling.
I think we have to face up to the seriousness of what Putin has achieved so far. Definite acts of war on his part have already been committed. Ones which the Democratic leadership will not openly admit to, nor speak to the role Putin is playing in financing the blatant treason on the part of MAGA leadership. They are drunk with power and desperate to achieve their ultimate goals and blind to Putin’s goals or aware of them and just don’t give a damn. Or both.
Personally, I don’t think such a coup will succeed as long as the White House is preparing for it. And if some indictments will finally be handed down. But minus any major indictments and preparation, the danger dramatically increases.
