heya venthoologans, how was your weekend?

We had more rain rain rain but it wasn't quite so cold, and I got some walking in at least. Darn near walked my legs off actually. The photo above is a view from Strawberry Hill in Stow Lake, Golden Gate Park on Saturday. We saw a big coyote there. Then yesterday had a long beach walk. Between the monstrous high tides last week, the storms up and down the coast, and the wind, there was tons of debris -- pieces of wood, twisted metal, and a big tank or buoy -- and in several places the beach was flooded or swept away.

At Stow Lake Saturday.

Trees are down all over the city. Just walking around is a little scary. There have been several sad reports of people killed by falling trees and limbs around the Bay Area. The next storm is expected late tonight.
