"Dissidents" vs. "Moderates"???? Corporate Media in Pretzels trying to Normalize the GQP [1]

Eric Wasson’s Twitter handle says he’s the current Congress reporter for Bloomberg. Fits the bill of “mainstream Beltway corporate media”.
And par for the course: look at how he describes in the Tweet above, the two GQP factions fighting over the Speakership.
Neither of the terms is even remotely close to reflecting reality. What these terms do, however, is provide cover for the GQP and for people like Wasson to continue pretending that this is just another day in D.C., or at most that the history-shattering dysfunction and recklessness, and the nation-risking hate and ignorance driving it, are part of some contrived political “normalcy” that will eventually resolve itself.
Also, providing ample cover for eventually blaming it all on Democrats, or explaining how this makes Democrats weaker and Republicans stronger. As another diarist has pointed out this morning.
For shame.
