Republican Pundit Charlie Sykes hits the GOP very hard as he truthfully makes George Santos into the instantiation of all the party has become.

The Republican Party has become a dangerous joke. And George Santos is their Frankenstein of bad attributes.
Charlie Sykes points out that Santo serves a purpose for the Right-Wing extremists.
“This is a guy that lies about when his mother died, so he's pretty much capable of any of everything,” Charlie Sykes said. “He didn't embellish his resume. He just made everything up. He is serving an interesting function in this caucus right now because you have Marjorie Taylor Greene saying, well, I'm not as much of a lying grifter as Matt Gaetz. And Matt Gaetz can look over at Santos and say, well, hey, I'm not as crazy and a lying grifter as that guy in a caucus that is filled with cranks and losers.”
Charlie then said it. He described what the Republican Party has become.
“Santos really does stand alone,” Charlie said. “But in so many ways, he's a personification of this age of grift that we live in, the personification of that of the era of Trump, somebody who is now completely fictitious, a chronic liar, and someone with absolutely no shame whatsoever. So on an incredibly shambolic day, his presence, sitting alone and shunned at the back, was just sort of a cherry on top of this clown car to mix a metaphor into badly.”
There is no need for Progressives or Democrats to say more. Charlie said it all!
