The first of the Valentine's crafts
I have been cleaning out my art armoire for the last week and I am not finished with it. I had promised myself to get it done before I started anything new because I tend to lose the plot completely and things get left half done. But….
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

By yesterday, I was worn out from the decisions and needed a break. So when bigjac said I should take off some time and come back to it, I knew he was right. He has been doing some what of the same thing in his home. I took off this morning to make this little wall hanging, quite easy and sweet, just right for the season. I have some pix of projects I would like to make and have the supplies for, keeping my eye on the organizing too.
So half the day I did this project and the other half, I repacked the craft room closet, getting most things back into their totes. The room looks better, I know where things are (more or less) and I can get back to the armoire tomorrow. The housekeeper will be here so I will try to stay out of her way.
Bill sees the ENT doctor tomorrow and I will let you know what they say. Today would have been my mother’s 90th birthday; she died 10 years ago shortly after I joined here. I miss her but, truth be told, I am glad she is not here to see the mess we have made of things.
