I spent 3 hours at the airport today trying to pick up some friend's luggage. They went to Vegas to see grandkids a few weeks ago and their flight back was cancelled. Their luggage made its way here somehow.

By the time I made it to the front of the line I found out their luggage was on a flight back to Vegas. That worked out ok because by the time my friends were able to get a flight home, they had COVID and had to wait anyway. I had their luggage delivered straight to them.

Here is the important thing I learned. Always save the confirmation email you get when you buy your tickets. Always! That number is the key to everything. Life, the universe and everything!

Then I went to these same people's house to pack up some things they needed, and ship to them overnight. I went to 2 drugstores to get some children’s, I don’t know, Motrin, Tylenol, whatever, to include in the package.

They couldn’t find any in Vegas. Seems there is a shortage here in Nashville too, but I finally got some and tried to get it there overnight, but Fed X insists this is a holiday. I checked with 2 Fed X’s and while there were people there taking your boxes, there was none picking them up to be delivered.

I did make it home right before a huge thunderstorm with tons of rain and lightning. If I’m not here it’s because for this day, I give up. Seriously, I’m done. Toast.
