A horrible person with integrity

Kevin McCarthy does not deserve to be speaker of the house, and should not be for weakness, lack of empathy (a typical republican characteristic), lack of morals (ditto) and lack of integrity (rolls eyes). The opposite of Kevin McCarthy is Liz Cheney. Despite being an awful republican, she has morals and integrity (i can not speak to empathy, but she is a Cheney).

The Speaker of the House does not have to be a Congressperson. They can be anyone, including an ex-congresswoman.

Keven McCarthy, in order to be Speaker of the House, is required to surrender what’s left of his balls to Majorie Taylor Greene, who has high hopes of becoming legitimate, Matt “I love children” Gaetz, Ralph Norman, Andy Biggs, and 2 other “Kevin is not MAGA enough for us” — giving up most of his power and giving MAGA worms major concessions and meaty committee assignments (Though someone will need to teach MGT how committees work as she hasn’t had much experience with them for the last 2 years).

I have, *ahem*, a modest proposal.

Democrats, who lost the house by 4.5 bodies, could stand behind Ms. Cheney. She’s a horrible person, but she has proven integrity, leadership, and a moral center (allegedly). Almost certainly at least 20 moderate republicans would vote for her, and because a republican is most likely going to be speaker, democrats would prefer one that isn’t a MAGA asshole.

Cheney would make fair and reasonable committee assignments, hold MTG and other sub-humans accountable, and would likely either eject or investigate George Santos.

I am open to being called crazy, naive, or just stupid.
