Trump-Manafort-Kilimnik-Putin Quid Pro Quo [1]

Just Monday, 12/26/2022, Nicolle Wallace spent nearly an entire hour (MSNBC Deadline Whitehouse) on a new scoop from a NYT report that there had been an explicit or generally-understood quid-pro-quo between TFG and Putin. Putin would support TFG’s 2016 campaign and TFG would “give” Mariupol to Putin. How TFG would give Putin a city in a sovereign country was not spelled out. Putin did produce a lot of misinformation and subterfuge to support TFG’s campaign. Conversely, TFG did block military aid to Ukraine following his “perfect” call with Zelenskyy. That much wasn’t news.

There was no mention of this story on the 6PM and later news shows. There has been no mention of this blockbuster story since Monday afternoon. Presumably, there was a problem with the veracity or reliability of the story. Maybe, there was a national-security concern that over-rode the investigation of the story. Does anyone know what happened?
