President Biden wary of his Secret Service detail and thinks agents lied about Major bite incident [1]

Welp, the first thing that pops up in my Google News feed when I kick-started my ancient laptop this morning (it helps if I remember to set the choke, turn the fuel petcock to ‘on’ and crack the throttle a little) was a report that President Biden thinks agents lied about Major biting an agent last year because the specifics reported by the agent or agents doesn’t add up.
The president reportedly pointed to the alleged location of the biting — on the second floor of the executive mansion — and told the friend: “Look, the Secret Service are never up here. It didn’t happen”.
We already know there were MAGA agents in his detail. Are they still there?
Dogs are very perceptive animals who can sometimes sense intent. Perhaps the agents who were bitten are not agents who should be near the President?
That Joe doesn’t implicitly trust his detail is extremely troubling. I would insist on his dogs being there just in case.
