Christmas
Late in the day on Christmas I want to wish all the loyal readers of my KTK diaries all the best this year and into the far future. By this time many of you are enjoying dinner with friends, family, and pets. Or are watching one of the many Christmas movies or listening to seasonal music. In all cases my hope is for a pleasant and less fraught future for us all.
We have been listening to the 48 hours of seasonal music, commercial-free, on our classical station KDFC. They have done a good job, with only one instance of Drummer Boy. Even that was a version less horrible than most.
My daughter reminded me that our most-played album during this season was The Last Month of the Year by the Kingston Trio. I haven’t used spotify before, but this seems to be the whole album: open.spotify.com/… The song we all remember is:
This is an open thread so tell us what you got for Christmas or what’s for dinner or if your neighbors were excellent this year. Ours all came over and dropped cards and gifts at our door, and called and visited; we love our condo complex.
