While putting this diary together, I saw that other birds were included with Sparrows. It was hard enough for me to keep one thing straight. But I’ll show some of the birds connected to the list that Cornell provided.

When I first got started as a birder, Nookular suggested I start with Warblers. There are plenty of those around and I could learn faster within that genre. That has been good advice. The other groups are still tough and intimidating but “LBB’s” (little Brown Blurs) are so much fun to study.

Two days shy of one year ago, it was warm enough for this little guy to emerge. Take a moment to watch a quiet wood scene.

This week has been rough on all of us with the climate and Earth changes hammering our world. I hope everyone is safe and well.
