Celebrate New Year's Day with Kos Art Expo 2023 [1]

On January 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm (Eastern), your talented friends at daily kos will publish their Kos Art Expo 2023. It has become a wonderful holiday tradition on this website. I just learned that there have been sixteen previous Expos or Salons published during the Winter, Summer or Fall holidays during past years.
The title image is a painting by Ralphdog from a previous Expo. I’ve been lucky enough to see his three newest exhibits, and they’re even better, if that’s possible. Below you have one of my favorite exhibits from an Expo gone by:
Those are hand-painted walking sticks created by Gwennedd! Awesome, no? Seriously, if you came across somebody with one of these in the wilderness, would you mess with her? Of course not. The stick obviously carries some sort of mystical power. Ralphdog and Gwennedd gave me permission to use their images.
As did RiveroftheWest, who exhibited this a few Expos ago:
Amazing! There will be paintings, ceramic art, fractal art, drawings, music, and much more, including face-painting and a bounce house for the kids. The last two are lies, but the rest … All True! I like to call these Museums of the Beautiful and the Curious, and you will see why if you stop by.
