Zenabu in Ghana is in Labor- Update [1]

I know it’s late (well here on the East Coast, anyway) but I Just heard from John in Ghana about Zenabu and I wanted to pass it on.
Zenabu is a Muslim lady from the villages in rural Ghana who has been having a very difficult pregnancy. We have been helping her as we can. She has had to be hospitalized several times and a few days ago she and her husband came to John because she was in unbearable pain.
She was immediately taken to the hospital and admitted. For a time we were afraid she would lose the baby or even die.
The latest report is that she is extremely dehydrated and has lost a great deal of blood. John said her face looked like dry paper.
We have arranged for her treatment and for now they are hoping she can have a normal childbirth. She will receive IV fluid and blood and whatever else she needs.
This is all I know for now but it is better news than we were hearing a few days ago. Hopefully everything will go well and Zenabu and Haddi will soon have their new baby in their arms.
We all need some good news on this shortest day of the year.
