My husband Ian with our dogs Birch and Biscuit

My husband Ian and I have been together for over 20 years. Back in 2006 he was diagnosed with Celiac disease. Part of that disease most folks don't realize is that it destroys your teeth.

After almost 15 years of this, Ian is in constant pain due to his teeth, he has had several rounds of antibiotics to try and control the infections he gets, but at this point he needs all of his teeth removed and dentures put in. Our insurance isn't bad for medical, but when it comes to dental it's basic to say the least.

I have started a fundraiser to help pay for my husband's dental surgery, we need close to 10K to cover all the costs.

In addition to this, my husband is a trans man, he is in need of top surgery, but the health risks from his dental issues are too great for him to go under anesthesia in order to get top surgery, he can't get his gender confirming surgery until he gets his teeth fixed. To that end I have made this Go Fund Me in order to try and cover both his medical needs.
