We all are in debt to ‘Kos — to not only get news from other sources, but great commentary (sarcastic humor so fine that I bust my sides laughing in the midst of the long dark time!) but also our comments. I’ve donated monthly for quite a while and will continue this. We also subscribe to WAPO, LATimes, NewYorker, Economist, Guardian…do so if you can.
BUT Sky Soldier’s post (“Presidents biden and Zelenski probably saved everything) here on Kos blew away all that oher back and forth with clarity and analogy to Tolkien’s work, which itself is an analagy for WWII. If you are lucky enough to have read the books and kept them, his forward is as moving as Sky soldier’s post. Thank you, Sky, and Thank you Kos!
The Bhagavad Gita has a passage in which Krishna says “ When goodness grows weak, when evil increases, I make myself a body.” Well, we have two for the work of our century, and Sky Soldier articulated that superbly. So thank you Biden, and thank you, Zelenskyy! May each of us emulate these heroes with our own sincerety, humor, and humility.
