And Eve ate the Forbidden Fruit

I like to rant also. I love DK because we can all rant, it keeps us sane. At the same time, all in DK are respectful for different opinions. We do not have to worry about anyone threatening us with violence on this site. That is why I do not do twitter, Facebook or anything else. We have here scientists, political scientists, journalists, etc. Yes, we are liberals mostly, but we have differences.

OK, I am a woman, retired scientist from NASA. I am not religious, but I respect others with religious believes.

I just wonder, according to the Old Testament written of course by men, there was Adam and Eve, Eve must have been very bored because she went there while Adam was scratching his balls and ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge. First scientist!! Then she seduced Adam and they had sex, how awful. How about if Eve had not done those things. We as a human race would be so bored and how would they have reproduced? Immaculate conception? Like the Virgin Mary? Or like chickens?

All these is so non-sense; however, many believe that and blame women for everything and that is why the extremist religious men and not so extremist want for women to pay for the “original sin” by denying them freedom to take decisions about their own bodies. Wow, and I thought that in the 21st Century people knew better.

Back to De-Santis. He thinks that he is that same kind of invented God who punishes men and women for eating from the tree of knowledge. Well, we will never stop eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge, no matter what he tries.
