Proposal for a January 6th dedication [1]

On this day, Dec. 19, 2022 as the January 6th Committee holds its final meeting, I would like to put forward the suggestion that we begin the process whereby we eventually post these words of dedication on the doors of our Capitol:
“We the People of the United States Dedicate These Doors and This Passage through which many Presidents-elect have passed to their Inauguration to Those Who on January 6, 2021 defended, some with their health and lives, this Citadel of Democracy, and to Those Whose integrity preserved Processes and Institutions through which We The People express Our Will and support the Peaceful Transfer of Power.”
[Note: It is the spirit of these words, not the exact grammar, that I suggest.]
I suggest that we also include names of all officers on duty that day, highlighting those who died, as well as the names of those staff members who moved and protected the physical ballots.
