So… great movie if you have not seen it. 100% recommend but not if you are looking for an action thriller. Or maybe if you don’t consider the contortions of children a barometer of morality of adult intent, then ya… start with the Rambo series. As an educator I DO consider the intent to motivate children as an indicator of good vs. evil. In anycase, I digress…
The movie was made in 2006. Not long after the invasion of Iraq. Paster Becky considers Islam her enemy and she is determined to make these kids cry until they accept Jesus. (spoiler alert) The film culminates in Bush’s appointment of S. Alito to the Supreme Court. THIS was how it happened. Understand these people and understand how they were able to be manipulated into the MAGA movement.
The kids in this 2006 film were young adults on Jan 6. Their parents the guys you see in the riots with the grey beards. Look at the passion and the language used… It’s where MAGA came from, it’s why you don’t get it, how half the country supports *RUMP.
I don’t post often, but when I do think about it….
