Private school owner likens public schools to indoctrination camps, says they are pushing sexuality [1]

Leila Centner, co-founder and CEO of Centner Academy in Miami, spoke at AMERICAFEST, a right-wing celebration taking place in Phoenix. Centner, an advocate for “parental choice”, stresses the importance of Christianity and the perils of public schooling.

First and foremost, family values and God. Second, do not send your kids to these indoctrination camps. There are plenty of opportunities to do something else. And, we’re a school that, um, we go pre-K to the 8th grade. Next year, we open high school, and we are recruiting like crazy, so any of you passioned educators out of there that want to make a difference, that want to save our children… through education, we have to take it back, right? Since the 90s, they have been slowly and meticulously indoctrinating our kids. That’s why so many young college students are blind. Because they started them at 3 years old, in the name of social justice. This is not social justice, they are not social justice warriors. They are brainwashing them to be weak, and the more sexualised they get into our children, the weaker that they become adults.

Centner, a mega-donor to numerous GOP politicians like Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, previously gained notoriety after she prohibited staff members of her school from getting vaccinated against COVID-19. Interestingly enough, Modern Luxury Miami magazine once deemed David and Leila Centner as Miami’s most philanthropic power couple; David, by the way, is not only the spouse of Leila, but he is also an entrepreneur and co-founder of Centner Academy.
