About Crimea —

You know Russia is preparing trenches there for a frontal assault. A make work project -makes them feel like they are doing something, I think

Ain’t gonna happen. On anything other than Ukrainian terms.

There are four points Ukraine has to control to lay siege. They basically control them right now.

Here is the thing man, in the end — Ukraine controls the fresh water Crimea needs to even try and get a crop in the ground in the spring — safe to say they ain’t gonna give them that water. They will starve. They can’t get even the food in for 3 million people. And they sure can’t grow it without that water. Bottom line.

So, four points Ukraine has to control — two bridges in range south of Kherson — All in range of fire, the bridge at the straight already compromised, and the seaport at Sebastopol. Where the Russians are hiding behind.

They sure don’t need a full out frontal attack — they already have them. It is why I don’t understand why General Hodges thinks this will take til the summer there for them to fold. They are so already fucked. They should be evacuating now. Millions of people waiting to starve? What the Russians did to Ukraine will come back 10 fold for those people there. They will starve.

That is exactly how I see this. IMHO. Reality. Ukraine could potentially find a different tactic I guess - sure don’t see a better one.

I even tried to add a Ukraine tag this time— maybe it worked. Did it?
