So I had a tooth pulled years ago, and that sumbitch hurts like a mofo sometimes. What's going on? I've been chicken to ask anybody because I didn't wanna get laughed at. Killer toothache where there's no tooth? Hahaha Right?

Last week I went to see a new dentist. Since new dentist wasn't gonna go digging for the mad root (see next paragraph) he said he had time to do a new crown on a different tooth that broke a filling out the last time I flossed. So he removed the crown, drilled out the decay underneath, refilled that and 3D printed a new crown all in the same visit. Remember when that process would have taken a month of return visits to get a crown installed? Technology is awesome.

The answer is in the x-ray. A root broke off when they pulled that sucker, and it's been floating around in there being all infected and pissed off and shit. >>> appointment with an oral surgeon. First visit of course, will be all the examination and imaging, and after that will get that bastard outta there. I can't wait.

Update - I went to the oral surgeon today. Catscan, panoxray, yadda yadda and all that jazz. Shit-ton buttload of paperwork. Folder full of documents and instructions ... appointment is made to get that sucker removed and an implant placed. SCORE! January 10, less than a month away. I am counting down. Topic change alert.

We went to see a movie last week, walked two blocks (downtown parking) and the right knee went all 'fuck that shit' and I have an appointment now to see an ortho to do something about THAT. It's the knee that the doc said needed replacing in 2008, so I've borrowed as much extra time as I can. Right now, it is seriously angry, and I have to respect what it doesn't want to do. Which is pretty much anything. We are eating frozen "nuke me" food, and the house is a mess and I don't care. I bought one of those fancy freezer or microwave things that you can strap on for cold or heat. Before that, I used a ratty old bag of frozen veggies that thawed and refroze a disgusting number of times before I eventually pitched it. Or did it go in a crock pot of stew? Don't remember. Doesn't matter. The stew was fine. The ortho appointment is next Monday.

I was invited to a discussion panel at the medical school last week and I sent them regrets. Told them I would write an article instead. I wrote it, but haven't published it yet. Sitting in the drafts of DKOS … It needs a lot of proofreading or simply deleting. Haha, no. It was a raging, pissed off RANT. Shit like people post on FB and the bird website. Professionally, it doesn't make the cut for public publication. I am still annoyed and pissed off about medical things in general. The article was a freebie, so if I don't want to, I don't hafta and I ain't gonna. I wrote for a paycheck on deadline too damn many years to do whatever for nothin’.

I just learned that the Mongolian god Tengri is the Buddha. The Mongolian Death Metal Band (HU) use spiritual imagery in their videos. Dig it! Prayer flags, the elements of air, water, earth, fire, reincarnation, nature, rotating mantra symbols and being pissed at the older generation for fucking it all up ... these are my people. Seriously, The steppes of Eurasia span the area where my dad's people -- my children’s ancestors-- came from on the steppes between Ukraine and Mongolia. You don't have to grok the language to understand their message.

Peace out.
