Kitchen Table Kibitzing 12/13/2022: Tune That Name [1]

The other day, our friend Youffraita posted a comment in the Morning Open Thread, which I saw MUCH later in the day. It featured this tweet from the Lincoln Project; I am posting it as an image in deference to those who feel tweets should not be embedded here.*
There were many, many very entertaining replies on Twitter, which you can certainly find in the thread if you care to go there. For your convenience, though, I just flipped through and grabbed the ones I liked best, and will list them here, mostly without comment. Some need a few notes:
Tres Chiflados: link not to Twitter; substitutes for the clarifying image in the tweet.
There were a couple of band names that came up again and again in different forms. I’ve picked the best two (imho) of each:

The rest are a mixture of plays on real band names, just straight up real band names that fit, and assorted other things. I toyed with sorting them into categories, because you know me, but in the end I thought they were better left assorted.

*Footnote: I cannot promise I’ll never embed tweets, but I will say that quarter incher shared a great piece from emptywheel yesterday that made the best argument I’ve seen yet in favor of abandoning Twitter wholesale. Oh, and see also: this Wonkette piece, while noting that Wonkette still embeds tweets. It’s complicated.
