Then, on the rest of the menu, an Oregon lawsuit puts a spotlight on the destruction of Black neighborhoods by urban improvement projects and construction of the nation’s highways; as Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey prepares to leave office, he has hired crews to erect hundreds of double-stacked shipping containers topped by razor wire along Arizona’s eastern boundary with Mexico; and, one of New Hampshire’s teachers’ unions is suing to stop public dollars from being spent to fund private schools through the Education Freedom Account program.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where a Russian court sentenced a Putin war critic to eight years for spreading ‘fake news;’ and, Germany plans to tighten its gun laws in the wake of a plot by the far-right "Reichsbürger” group to violently overthrow the government.
