About the 2008 Democratic Presidential Primary when 2 states had their votes not counted…..
I wasn’t paying that much attention back then. (I do remember thinking that I thought it seemed like some states were more equal than others when some had to wait their turn to hold a primary.) I have read (here) about what a mess Florida is now for the democratic party. Did 2008 cause that? Or was 2008 kerfuffle yet another example of Florida Democrats being a mess?
Same question with Michigan. What was the long-term effect of the Democratic party not counting their vote? Why did they choose to to move their primary forward? What was the long-term result for how Michigan Democrats feel about the party?
It’s 14 years later now. What is the thinking now?
