Something no phony liberal can say no to
As literally everyone knows by now, Kyrsten Sinema has left the Democratic Party to become an Independent. I use the present perfect tense of the verb “to leave” in its loosest possible sense, as anyone who has paid attention to the US political arena over the last few years knows that her defection from the party and all it stands for is old, old news.
With her decision, she joins longtime ex-Dem Tulsi Gabbard and current DINO and fossil-fuel baron Joe Manchin in saluting with the middle digit everyone who cares about things like climate change, LGBTQ+ rights, and money in politics, and welcoming with open arms those who would hasten global warming, repurpose the political system for their own financial and power ambitions, and provide average Americans (you know, the people they pledged to serve) with little more than a steady diet of culture wars, corporate hegemony, and sartorial theatrics.
