Time to Finally Give Louis Dejoy the Boot! [1]

My interpretation of a typical postal worker needing 3 arms

It's now been almost over 2 years since Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election, and we have got through the 2022 midterms gaining a Majority in the Senate and losing just enough seats to barely lose control of the House of Representatives which is the least amount of seats lost in the house by a sitting president in a midterm election in modern history.

But the danger is still very much alive in our government. Many of President Trump's appointees are still in power, including Louis Dejoy, who was appointed as the Postmaster General by Trump and has since been on an unrelenting campaign to destroy the US Postal Service from within. Dejoy has implemented numerous policies that have led to disastrous effects on postal services across the nation, resulting in delays and even destroying essential mail-in ballots for millions of Americans. Destroying countless sorting machines, and putting in place odd rules often created a situation where a mail truck would leave empty. Louis Dejoy is a real problem for the United States Postal Service, and in my opinion, was purposely put in place to destroy the post office's reliability and already tight bottom line. In order to enhance the republican position of privatizing the United States Postal Service the creation of one of the founding fathers Benjamin Franklin.

Thankfully, on December 9th of this year, several of the positions on the postal board are up for renewal, and President Biden can then appoint postal board members that are more sympathetic to Postal Services, hopefully as well as Dejoy's exit from the role. This would put an end to Dejoy's campaign of destroying the postal system from within and enable the United States Postal Service to return to its former glory. But for that to happen Congress needs to reverse that terrible law they passed where the Postal service has to have enough money on hand to pay for pensions 75 years into the future, they have to put money away for the pensions of people not even born yet, it is just insane and no other company in this country is forced to do this by law.

It is going to take a long time for the United States Postal Service to recover from Dejoy's reign of terror and it will be up to President Biden and future Congresses to give the post office all the help they need in order to make sure this never happens again we should be working on ways to make USPS stronger, not weaker, I am with Senator Sanders in suggesting that post offices start providing certain banking services in order to make more revenue. The United States Postal Service is a service that was created by the founding fathers and has served us well for centuries, and it needs to be protected from any further attempts of destruction. Dejoy's actions have put the future of the USPS at risk and we must do everything in our power to make sure that Dejoy is removed from office and replaced with someone who understands the importance of protecting this essential service.

It's time to put an end to DeJoy's campaign of destroying the postal system so it can be privatized, which has been a Republican wet dream for a while now. President Biden has already taken steps toward reversing many of DeJoy's harmful policies, and will soon have the opportunity to appoint DeJoy's replacement. Let's make sure that DeJoy is removed from office and replaced with someone who understands the importance of protecting this essential service. We must work together to ensure that Dejoy's attempt to destroy the Postal Service from within is stopped for good.

It’s time to put an end to Trump-era politics, and it has already begun, guilty on 17 counts against the Trump Family business, with more cases coming, but we need to get rid of who he appointed and it starts with getting DeJoy out of office. President Biden has already taken steps toward reversing many of DeJoy’s harmful policies, and we should be doing all we can in our power to make sure he is removed from office and replaced with someone who respects the Postal Service for what it was created for: serving the people of this great nation. Let's ensure DeJoy's campaign to destroy the Postal Service from within is not successful and that our Postal Service can continue to serve us for generations to come!
