Before the election I made a donation split among Daily Kos' slate of senate candidates. They all spammed me to an annoying but not paralytic extent.

Then, i made a larger, unsplit donation to his runoff. The campaign sent literaly hundreds of begging emails per day the last week. I lost my inbox and had to spend over an hour restoring function. I guess the have so many eager donors they can afford to treat them like shit, with total disrespect.

I have faced some variations of this all the times Ive donated or signed petitions here.

Since the needs exceed my funds, I am now directing them to organizations that treat me with respect, namely Razom, World food kitchen, Bring them back alive and the Nature conservancy.

Kos really needs a way to donate and sign petitions without passing on email.
