Bob McGrath, otherwise known as Bob from Sesame Street has passed at the age of 90. Others will write great paeans about him, but for me, he will always be the one who talked about the DEEP things. He could talk about mental illness, death, homelessness, all the things that our parents were afraid to talk about.
To me, he was my favorite human on that show. Even more than Mr. Looper. Even more than Gordon, Susan, or Maria and Luis. When he spoke, I KNEW everything was going to be OK.
Rest in Power, Bob. You were the Second Father to SO many of us kids.
