Citizens queue to early vote in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta

It's been 40 minutes and I'm still on line in this highly Democratic district in the heart of midtown. I've lived in Atlanta since the mid-1990's and this is the longest voting line I've seen since Obama 2008.

I have not seen one person quit or go home. Not one.

The Georgia anti-voting law which restricts days of early voting, prohibits people from passing out water and coffee or whatever, required a notorized affidavit to receive a mail in ballot and scheduled the run off a month earlier to deprive people the opportunity to organize seems to have failed spectacularly. If I had to guess, the law backfired and people are MORE motivated to vote because of it.

Pass whatever law you want, you just can't stop us Dems from voting. Parting shot, good luck asking Herschel Walker voters to wait in a line like this.
