Good Sunday afternoon, everyone.
Irene Cara joined the ancestors yesterday. She was 63.
I loved her presence and her talent.
Imagine a Black schoolgirl playing the keyboard, dancing, and singing as she saw in Irene Cara's Coco Hernandez from Fame. That was the impact Irene Cara had on me.
I loved her in Sparkle and Aaron Loves Angela.
