Welcome to the November 27th edition of Street Prophets Coffee Hour, the place where politics meets up with religion, politics, food, science, art, and life. Come in, have a cuppa and a cookie (or three!), and join us.

It isn’t fully winter here yet. Autumn can’t decide if it wants to lean more backwards into the departing summer or move on into the cold, but cold is winning. We have a 60° day forecast for Tuesday, and we have a 17° low forecast for overnight Wednesday. We’ve had snow at least three times already. Meanwhile, my bird feeders are topped up, I’m keeping the heated birdbath scrubbed and filled with fresh water, and I’ve started my winter Feeder Watch bird counting.
