I’ll call him Major as that was his rank when he retired from the Army with a coupla bronze stars and four combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Anyway Major Fierro when he heard the bullets start flying ducked but kept looking until the gunman turned away. Then ran across the room tackled the guy knocking the long gun out of reach, then took away the fella’s hand gun and belabored the SOB about the head until he figured he’d maybe killed him.

I’d add a picture but don’t know how, and if I just up and grabbed a screen shot of the good major kicking back in his garage as seen in the NYT somebody is sure to get all in a tizzy over copyright or something.
