Clear Skies Ahead?

Despite the expected rebound from last week’s holiday-reduced numbers, the two-week Covid-19 trends continue to move in a fairly favorable direction in both Canada and the US. The only potential signs of future problems at this point are the apparent stop in the 3-month gradual decline of serious hospitalizations over the past couple of weeks, and the significant new increase in both new cases and deaths in Florida — though it’s still too early to tell yet what either of these developments might actually portend.
