GOP - Stuck in the Mud! [1]

Patient: Doctor, It hurts when I do this! Doctor: Then don't do that!

Pretty simple feedback loop, right? A child learns this when they touch a hot stove. Who knew that fascists were also masochists? Immediately after the mid-term elections, the Republicans went out and bought hammers, those with the smallest brains buying the biggest. They gathered in a circle to discuss “strategy” but instead, decided to tie themselves together and repeatedly beat each other in the head, thus making themselves dumbstruck, angry, superfluous, and the words “Republican” and “Strategy” when used together, oxymoronic.

We need a new name for this unique mental disorder and more funding for politicians with the learning disabilities that the disorder creates. Perhaps, and thinking ahead to 2028, this bill could go along with the one that allows anyone convicted of a federal crime to run for president, provided that they have also failed to get the majority of the votes in three past elections (incl. 2024) and caused two major mid-term election failures for their party. There could be an exception to these criteria for anyone who had contributed to the COVID deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Now, an ex-gym owner and a wrestling coach who ignored pedophilia get to be the mouthpiece for a failed party and the first people that voters see after the election. They clearly state that what their “just say NO, party-without-a-platform” is going to do is exactly what the Slimey Don would want — that is, throw the mud in which they’re sinking at the successful administration that just whooped their asses and is saving our economy, climate and human rights while re-establishing our leadership and integrity abroad.

And, of course, all the mud throwing will be done at a huge waste of time and taxpayer money, in the absence of evidence, and it will result in the same non-outcomes. Remember that doing the same thing over and over again, and losing while doing it, yet expecting a different result is the first sign of insanity. Oh, but there have been so many signs and there will be so many more. Doctor, it hurts when I do this. So, do it again and again and again.

Addiction therapists tell us that we should see the word “SICK” printed on the addict’s forehead when they speak. That helps to avoid taking whatever they say personally. We already know that we cannot believe a word that MAGA GOP members say. MAGA supporters do but they’re about fifty one cards short of a full deck. They like looking at the Jokers.

I’m just hoping that the government mails barf bags with absentee ballots for the next election. It’s nauseating to have to watch the GOP sink deeper and deeper in the mud. Some of my best friends used to be Republicans. Time to rebrand and think of a new name for the party. I have sympathy for the elephant stuck in the mud, but not for the GOP. For me, that used to stand for Greedy Old Penises, which sounds rather innocuous now. How about the MF’s ... for Masochistic Fascists, of course.
