Twitter continues to implode, but not this way.

New Members-elect are in DC for orientation. Gen-Z (and Gen-Z leaning) Members finally learn the answer to question, “Why do I need to learn to write in cursive?”

We’ve managed to avoid discussing the FTX collapse because there may be no point in understanding it, anyway. But today we learn it may be worse than Enron, and also perhaps particularly smarmy.

Up in New Hampshire (down, if you’re in Maine, or Canada, or if you’re Santa Claus), the mother of all electoral ties is in need of a solution. We’ve all heard that these things can sometimes be settled by coin tosses or drawing straws. (Not in New Hampshire, though.) But did you know that in addition to being election denialists, Republicans are also straw-drawing denialists, when convenient?

This has implications for The Nightmare Scenario™ in Congress this January. How so? It’s time to start reviewing the process for selecting a Speaker of the House, in all its weedy glory.

Only then can one truly imagine the ways things can go wrong, and how far they can go!
