Wool roll bread

Isn’t this a lovely loaf of bread? It is called a wool roll bread. I made it a couple of years ago and it was interesting and tasty. I only made it once but I bought a set of the spring form pans. That is the story of my life.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

I seem to collect the tools of the trade, whatever it is I am into at the time. I have tried hard not to collect too much in the current fever of DIY signs and decor. I am grateful I have the guild to give most of it to so that I am not over run. Today was the last day of any autumn crafts and we move on to Christmas which presents such a wide variety of themes to work with and wonderful colors.

So I am decorated for fall through Thanksgivings day and then I will start to put out Christmas the first of Dec. Lil Zen and I will go to the tree farm on Saturday and choose our tree. We will have it cut down closer to Christmas so it stays fresh. We usually buy our tree from this same company but in another city. This year, they sent a notice that the one closer to us has closed permanently and to come to the one farther out. I am guessing drought. One year, a fire had come right to the perimeter, burning the outer side of the trees on the edges but not getting into the grove. It was a strange sight.
