Herschel Walker in the Senate (as what? you may ask) is the epitome of malarkey. All of us must make sure that he isn’t there. TFG is the reigning emperor of malarkey, but Herschel Walker is giving him a run for his grift. He claims, for example, that Rev. Raphael Warnock is not a Christian, and that we can’t be descended from apes because there are still apes. Also, we shouldn’t plant trees to combat Global Warming because there are enough trees. And abortion is OK if it’s his girlfriend.

I will pass over, in this Diary, Walker’s other notable and widely noted scandals, hypocrisies, and outright lies, but we can come back to them. Our topic for today is writing postcards and letters to Georgia voters to get them to the polls. Such campaigns have a measured efficacy of about 1%±, which has proven to have been critical in a number of races in this cycle.
The margin in the first round in Georgia was 0.9%, with 2.1% going to a Libertarian.

Postcarding may also have been critical in possibly throwing Lauren Boebert out in Colorado. That race has now come down to ballot curing and late-arriving military ballots.
