A cartoon interviews a cartoonish candidate
While we wait for the final tally on the US House of Representatives, we know that the Senate will remain in Democrats’ control in the next term of Congress. Thank goodness for that! (literally)
That has me really wondering now about how energized Republican voters are going to be to turn out to vote in the 6 December runoff election between Raphael Warnock and cartoon parody of a conservative Christian, Herschel Walker. No matter the outcome of the runoff election, there’s no way the Republicans can get control of the Senate. How many GOP voters will rouse themselves from their racist torpor to go out and vote on 6 December when it won’t affect control of the Senate? I’ve got to believe there won’t be much enthusiasm there.
On the other hand, Democrats appreciate what a frightening prospect a “Senator Herschel Walker” is, what a stain on Georgia he will be, and should be motivated to keep him out of the Senate. I don’t think it will take much prodding to GOTV for Warnock.
What do the Kossacks think?
