Let not their sacrifice be in vain.

11/11

November 11th brings back memories in many countries. It’s not just Veteran’s Day in America. . . it is a day of remembrance all over Europe. Originally referred to as Armistice Day (Armistice, in Latin, means to “stand arms”). It was at 11 am on November 11 (11/11) in 1918 that an agreement was reached to end the fighting in World War 1 as a prelude to a treaty (The Treaty of Versailles 1919) being signed. So, it has become known that at the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month we should not only remember that peace, but dream of it for the future.

Fighting continued up to 11 a.m. of the 11 November 1918, with 2,738 men dying on the last day of the war. The Treaty of Versailles was signed until 28 June 1919. Peace wasn’t until ratified at 4:15 p.m. on 10 January 1920.

It’s been called The Great War, The War to End All Wars and now known as World War I because the other two names while aspirational failed to accurately describe the events that occurred between 1914 and 1918. 20 years later there would be an even greater war and since then we’ve experienced over a century of wars around the world. So neither held up as accurate.

There are some who didn’t accept the armistice, one of them being a certain Austrian corporal. Before we had election deniers we had armistice deniers. People who claimed Germany really didn’t lose the war. Victory was stolen from the German people by traitors. At first the traitors were the Zionist(Jews), later the list became pretty much anyone who disagreed with Hitler.

While the Zionists try to make the rest of the World believe that the national consciousness of the Jew finds its satisfaction in the creation of a Palestinian state, the Jews again slyly dupe the dumb Goyim. It doesn't even enter their heads to build up a Jewish state in Palestine for the purpose of living there; all they want is a central organization for their international world swindler, endowed with its own sovereign rights and removed from the intervention of other states: a haven for convicted scoundrels and a university for budding crooks. It is a sign of their rising confidence and sense of security that at a time when one section is still playing the German, French-man, or Englishman, the other with open effrontery comes out as the Jewish race. Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf

Accountability can’t just be a slap on the wrist.

On this day of remembrance, not only is it important that we we remember the events of the past, but also the lessons. Lessons that we shouldn’t have to learn again. Lessons that shouldn’t be set aside for political expediency.
