Cortez Masto just picked up over 8,000 votes in the Nevada senate race [1]

Steve Kornacki is talking about it on Joy Reid’s show right now. That nearly erases the deficit. Thought y’all would want to know. We’re gonna win Nevada, y’all.

I posted this as soon as it happened, and now I can add these details. About 27,000 votes were counted and that moved Cortez Mastro up to just a 798 vote deficit. There are about 50,000 votes outstanding. Many thanks to the commenters, science, marvyt, and justmy2 for this info. Also, a hat tip to LV2N17 for this information:

If Washoe drops tonight and it’s she gets over 55% and continues to get over 60% in Clark it’s basically over. Laxalt would need to average over 85% outside of Clark and Washoe.
