A poll about TWITter, and a Book recommendation. [1]

Ok. So if you’re reading this, please vote in the poll. I just read an article this week which depressed me, claiming that the so-called wealthiest man in the World (But is he really, any more?) loves one of my favorite books. Isaac Asimov’s Foundation.(1) Asimov would be turning over in his grave, if he knew about that claim that Mr. Moneybags admired it. Oh,but It’s where I got my username from. In spite of what’shisname supposedly liking it , it’s a good read, you should read it.

Anyway, Foundation is about the fall of a Civilization, in this case, The Galactic Empire, Thousands (Millions?) of years in the future. (2)

[SPOILERS] As the Empire is falling, two Foundations are set up at the opposite ends of the Galaxy to preserve the whole of Human knowledge in a massive ‘Encyclopedia Galactica’, But the first Foundation quickly finds that their real mission is to actually shorten the time from the fall of the FIRST Galactic Empire to the SECOND Empire...from 10,000 years of ‘Barbarism’ to only 1000 years, using a fictitious Science called Psychohistory which allows its users to predict future events by studying immense groups of people. And furthermore to set up the Second Empire in such a way that it’ll be more stable. And I bet twitterman glossed over this next part, to make the 2nd Empire a MORE DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY than the First Empire, which was ruled over by despotic/weak/incompetent, Emperors.

Now, a question: Why does D.K. still use TWITter? Is it really that indispensable?

It doesn’t really dovetail with liberal values since what’shisname bought it. I’m not sure it did before, but ah, well.

(1)There are 4-5 more in the series...Plus two other series he wrote that lead up to Foundation.
